Venue and Access

The conference will be held at Grand Park Otaru:

For participants of LT29, we will prepare bus transportation directly to the ULT conference venue and some other hotels in Otaru. The bus will leave conference site and some major hotels in Sapporo, after the closing session of LT. Details will be announced.

Access by train: get off at JR Otaru Chikko Station (it is NOT Otaru Station). Details will be announced.

Grand Park Otaru is located at the middle of "Wing-Bay Otaru", a large shopping mall. (http://www.wingbay-otaru.co.jp/sitemap/ Sorry, the website has almost no English translation.) The Wing-Bay Otaru is directly connected to Otaru Chikko Station by a long pedestrian overpass. It takes 7-8 minutes from the Station to the hotel by walk. Details of access to the hotel will be announced soon.
